Patriots OT Marcus Bryant (ankle) ruled out for rest of preseason finale
The second-year offensive tackle was helped to the medical tent and will not return, per Mike Reiss, as New England wraps its preseason.
Patriots offensive tackle Marcus Bryant left Saturday's preseason finale and will not return after suffering an ankle injury, thinning an already tested New England line.
Mike Reiss (@MikeReiss): Patriots injury update: Marcus Bryant, ankle, won't return tonight.
Bryant, a 2025 seventh-round pick out of Missouri, was tended to in the popup medical tent after staying down on a play, with 2026 sixth-round pick Dametrious Crownover entering at right tackle in his place. Beat reporter Mike Reiss confirmed after the injury that the ankle issue would end Bryant's night.
The Patriots are evaluating depth along the line ahead of cutdown week, and losing a young tackle for any stretch adds to that math.
