Packers add veteran G Mekhi Becton to offensive line

The Green Bay Packers have added another veteran to their offensive line, bringing in guard Mekhi Becton.

Becton is the latest reinforcement to a Packers front that has been reshaped in recent days, part of a broader push to add experience and depth up front. The move gives Green Bay another proven body as it looks to solidify protection and run blocking.

Becton, a former first-round pick, brings size and power to the interior of the line. His addition is part of a series of offensive-line moves by the Packers as they continue to build out the group.

The Packers' line now has additional veteran options as the season progresses. For Becton, it is a chance to carve out a role in Green Bay's front and help anchor the unit going forward.
