Breece Hall and others 'trending towards playing' for Jets' opener against Titans

Breece Hall is "trending towards playing" in the Jets' season opener against the Titans, head coach Aaron Glenn said Tuesday, with the running back expected to practice this week.

Hall missed time in August with a groin injury, and Glenn's update signals the team believes the running back is on track to be in the lineup as long as practice goes smoothly. Hall set a career high with 1,065 rushing yards last season and signed a three-year contract to remain with the Jets this offseason.

Glenn said most other players who dealt with injuries this summer, including rookie tight end Kenyon Sadiq, are also trending in the right direction for the opener, while linebacker Joseph Ossai remains week-to-week with a foot injury.
