Jaguars WR Parker Washington expected back at practice next week

The Jacksonville Jaguars are expecting receiver Parker Washington to rejoin the practice field next week after he missed the past several days with an undisclosed injury, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.

Schefter reported Friday that Washington, who was held out of practice this week, is on track to return to team drills when the Jaguars resume next week. No specifics on the nature of the injury were disclosed.

Washington, a 2023 third-round pick out of Penn State, is entering a pivotal year in Jacksonville's receiving rotation. He appeared in all 17 games as a rookie and carved out a role as a dependable underneath target and core special-teams contributor. The Jaguars have leaned on receiver depth the past two seasons, and keeping Washington healthy matters for both the slot rotation and kick/punt units.
