Okoye is an intriguing addition. The Nigerian-born lineman arrived in the league through the International Player Pathway Program and recovered a fumble for Baltimore in Friday night's preseason finale before the trade. Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic confirmed the deal, noting Okoye was on the roster bubble in Baltimore and returns a 2028 seventh to the Ravens.
Okoye reunites with Giants defensive-line coach Dennis Johnson and head coach John Harbaugh in East Rutherford. The pick New York sent is essentially the one it received from the Chiefs in the earlier Josh Ezeudu trade, same value, just New York's own selection rather than Kansas City's.
