Nabers won't declare himself in for Sunday: 'They're leaving the decision up with me'

Malik Nabers practiced in full for a second consecutive day Thursday, but he is not ready to say he will play when the Giants open the season Sunday night against the Cowboys.

"That's a possibility. Like Harbs said, they're leaving the decision up with me," Nabers said, adding that it is his career. Coach John Harbaugh said Wednesday he thinks the receiver is ready to go, but the team wants to see how Nabers feels closer to kickoff before committing.

Nabers is working back from a torn right ACL suffered Sept. 28 against the Chargers. He has said he will not return on a snap count, which frames the choice as a full workload or no workload rather than something in between.

He described a demanding offseason: "I grinded, prayed hard, put in a consistent amount of work. Early, early mornings and late nights." He added that if he is out there, he expects to do everything he knows he can do.

New York's injury report was unchanged from Wednesday, with defensive lineman Shelby Harris (Achilles), offensive lineman Bryan Hudson (knee), tight end Theo Johnson (shoulder) and offensive tackle Andrew Thomas (knee) all full participants.
