The Giants have locked up their veteran backup quarterback, agreeing with Jameis Winston on a two-year, $13 million extension, per sources.

Winston was entering the final year of his contract, and the new deal now runs through 2028, with the money on his 2026 season left untouched. The extension keeps the 2015 No. 1 overall pick in New York as the team's QB2 and a central figure in the quarterback room, where he has been integral to the development of starter Jaxson Dart.
