Collins, 23, was waived by the New York Giants with an injury settlement late last week. He went undrafted out of Clemson in 2025 and made New York's roster out of camp, appearing in nine games and catching two passes for 25 yards as a rookie while also seeing time on special teams. His brief Giants stint was interrupted by the injury that led to the settlement.
For Collins, the Falcons represent a fast second chance — just days after parting with the Giants, he has a new home and a fresh opportunity to stick on an NFL roster.
