Commanders' Terry McLaurin active for Sunday vs. Giants despite hamstring issue
Washington's No. 1 receiver will play New York despite a hamstring strain that made him questionable for Week 5

The Washington Commanders will have their top wide receiver available Sunday against the New York Giants. Terry McLaurin, listed as questionable with a hamstring strain suffered during Friday's practice, has been cleared to play.
Mike Garafolo (@MikeGarafolo): Reported on @espn for NFL Countdown: #Commanders WR Terry McLaurin will be active today. Likely not a full go but suited up and ready to play against the #Giants.
McLaurin was a limited participant in Friday's practice after the hamstring issue emerged during the team's London prep week. While Garafolo noted McLaurin is "likely not a full go" for the game, he is suited up and ready to contribute for a Commanders offense that has already ruled out Stefon Diggs.
Washington enters Week 5 at 1-3 and in desperate need of a spark against a Giants team that sits at 3-1. McLaurin's presence gives quarterback Jayden Daniels a reliable target even as he plays through his own elbow concerns. The Commanders also listed cornerback Trey Amos (ankle), running back Jeremy McNichols (quad) and defensive end Deatrich Wise Jr. (quad) as questionable, though all are expected to play.
Kickoff is set for 1:00 p.m. ET from MetLife Stadium in what will be a wet, windy test for both passing games.
