The Buffalo Bills needed a fourth-quarter response after Las Vegas pulled even. James Cook's 3-yard touchdown run put Buffalo ahead, and the Bills held on 33-30 after the Raiders' final touchdown made an onside kick necessary. Buffalo improved to 5-1.
Cook scored with 4:43 left, then Tyler Bass made a 38-yard field goal with 1:56 remaining. Kirk Cousins answered almost immediately with a 44-yard touchdown pass to Tre Tucker, cutting the lead to three. Khalil Shakir secured the ensuing onside kick, allowing Buffalo to run out the clock.
Josh Allen completed 23 of 33 passes for 255 yards and two touchdowns without an interception. Cook added 95 rushing yards on 22 carries; his touchdown was the decisive change in a game tied at 23 in the fourth quarter. Tucker caught two touchdowns for the Raiders, who fell to 3-3 despite staying within reach to the final possession.
Buffalo also played the second half without defensive back C.J. Gardner-Johnson, who was ejected earlier in the game. The Bills still produced enough late offense to leave Las Vegas with the win, but the three-point finish gave them little margin for another mistake.
