The Bears will be without Caleb Williams on Monday night. Chicago officially ruled out its franchise quarterback for the prime-time game against the Eagles, with Williams still sidelined by the hamstring injury he suffered in last Sunday's loss to the Vikings.

That leaves the Bears' quarterback situation in flux heading into the week's final game. Tyson Bagent, the No. 2 on the depth chart, is listed as questionable after returning to practice Saturday — he has advanced far enough in the concussion protocol to work out but still needs to clear the final steps before he can play. Case Keenum would be in line to start if Bagent is not cleared.

Williams did not practice at all this week after hurting the hamstring against Minnesota, and the team made the call official on Saturday rather than carrying him as a game-time decision. It's a significant blow for a Chicago offense that has leaned on its young quarterback's mobility and playmaking through the opening weeks.

Bagent, who has started games for the Bears in past seasons, gives the offense a capable if less dynamic option, while Keenum brings veteran experience off the bench. The Bears will finalize their starter once Bagent's protocol status is resolved, with the injury report due out later Saturday.
