Lamar Jackson was not on the field for the Ravens' Thursday practice, but Baltimore is not ruling out its quarterback for Sunday's game against the Atlanta Falcons.

Head coach Jesse Minter left open the possibility that Jackson plays against Atlanta even if he does not practice, placing the quarterback in the category of players who can be held out of practice and still suit up on game day. Jackson has been managing the ankle injury he sustained in Week 4 and has not practiced this week.

The Ravens were also without outside linebacker Trey Hendrickson (finger), cornerback Marlon Humphrey (calf/hamstring) and center Cam Jurgens (concussion) during the open portion of Thursday's session, while wide receiver Rashod Bateman (shoulder) worked in a red non-contact jersey. Jackson's status remains the headline as Baltimore weighs whether its franchise quarterback can go against Atlanta.

With Jackson's availability uncertain, the Ravens' preparation has accounted for the possibility of backup Tyler Huntley under center. Minter's comments Thursday keep the door open for a Sunday return, but the decision will likely come down to how Jackson feels as the week closes.
