Pinter has been vying for the starting center spot after Tyler Linderbaum's departure in free agency, making any injury setback particularly untimely for a player trying to lock down the role. Mike Garafolo reported the carting-off shortly after it happened at the joint session between the AFC North Ravens and the NFC North Vikings.
Asked about Pinter's status, defensive coordinator Jesse Minter said via the team's account, 'Don't have any updates yet,' leaving the severity of the knee issue unclear for now. For a Ravens offensive line searching for stability up the middle, Pinter's health is a storyline to monitor as the preseason schedule continues.
