Puka Nacua leaves Rams practice early with calf injury
The Rams wide receiver was listed as limited after leaving Thursday’s practice with a calf injury
Los Angeles Rams receiver Puka Nacua left Thursday’s practice early with a calf injury. The team listed him as limited rather than absent for the session, Rams reporter Sarah Barshop reported.
The limited designation confirms Nacua took part in at least some of the practice, but his early exit is a new availability concern for Los Angeles. The injury emerged during the team’s preparations for its next game, and the practice report alone does not establish whether he will be able to play. His participation at the next session will offer a clearer indication than Thursday’s partial work.

The Rams already have an unsettled receiving picture. Davante Adams went on injured reserve earlier this week with a hamstring injury and is headed for surgery, Losing practice time from Nacua would therefore affect a position group that was already absorbing a major absence; it does not, by itself, mean he will miss a game.
Los Angeles has also placed defensive linemen Poona Ford and Kobie Turner on injured reserve this week, while tight end Terrance Ferguson was not expected to be ready when his return window opened. Those are separate issues rather than a diagnosis for Nacua, but they show the number of personnel questions the club is carrying into the weekend. For the receiver, the confirmed news Thursday is the early exit and limited practice designation—not a game-status decision.
