The Los Angeles Rams placed kicker Blake Grupe on injured reserve Monday, per Adam Schefter and Mike Garafolo. Grupe suffered a knee injury during Sunday's 18-16 loss to the Cardinals when he attempted to make a tackle on a kick return.
Grupe was initially listed as doubtful to return during the game. The IR designation means he will miss at least four games, leaving the Rams to explore kicker options — either from within the roster or via free agency — ahead of their Week 7 matchup.
The Rams (2-4) fell to fifth-best in Super Bowl odds after the loss to Arizona and now face uncertainty at the kicking position as they look to turn their season around.
