Matt Schneidman (@mattschneidman): Packers signed RB Pierre Strong Jr. to the 53. A sign that Chris Brooks won’t play on Sunday.
Brooks is not expected to play Sunday, according to Schneidman's assessment of the move. Strong arrives from the practice squad with prior NFL experience: Strong has appeared in 46 games and carried the ball 99 times, averaging 5 yards per attempt. The promotion gives Green Bay another available back as it prepares for Chicago.
