Adam Schefter (@AdamSchefter): Guard Jon Runyan and the Giants reached agreement today on a two-year, $22 million extension that includes $21.5 million guaranteed, per his agents Drew Rosenhaus and Kyle Lincoln.
The deal includes $21.5 million guaranteed. Schefter attributed the terms to Runyan's agents, Drew Rosenhaus and Kyle Lincoln.
Runyan had made his preference clear before the agreement. Art Stapleton shared a conversation from a few weeks earlier in which Runyan said he wanted to prove his worth to the coaches and the franchise, adding, "I want to be here for the long haul."
Here’s what Runyan told me a few weeks back: “I know I want to be here, so, you know, I'm gonna play and practice and conduct myself just like that. I want to be here, so I want to prove my worth to myself, and to these coaches, and this franchise, and I want to be here for the long haul.”View on X →

The agreement follows another Giants extension reported earlier Sunday: a two-year, $13 million deal for Jameis Winston. New York's contract business now reaches both the quarterback room and the offensive line, with separate agreements to retain Winston and Runyan.
