Dolphins sign DL Cam Rice, waive safety Tanner Wall

The Dolphins made a small pair of roster moves as they continue to shape the back end of the preseason roster.

Miami signed defensive lineman Cam Rice and waived safety Tanner Wall, according to Dolphins beat writer David Furones. Both moves fall in the camp-churn category typical of the weeks before final cutdowns.

Rice gives the staff another body along the defensive front as the unit works through the preseason, while Wall's release trims the safety room. Neither is expected to alter the team's projected depth chart at a starting position.
