Cowboys limit George Pickens with shoulder issue before Eagles game
Pickens was limited Thursday with a shoulder issue; Tyler Guyton was also limited with a calf issue before Dallas faces Philadelphia
Dallas Cowboys receiver George Pickens was limited in Thursday’s practice because of a shoulder issue as Dallas prepares for Monday’s game against the Philadelphia Eagles. Tackle Tyler Guyton also practiced on a limited basis with a calf issue, according to Todd Archer.

Todd Archer (@toddarcher): George Pickens officially limited on Thursday. He’s had ice on his shoulder the last two games. Don’t think this is something that will keep him out this week. Tyler Guyton was also limited with a calf issue.
Pickens has had ice on his shoulder during each of the Cowboys’ past two games, Archer noted. He does not expect the issue to keep the receiver out this week, though that is a reporter’s assessment rather than an official availability decision. Thursday’s participation confirms Pickens was still able to do some work.
The Eagles matchup gives Dallas additional days to monitor both players before Monday night. Pickens’ limitation bears watching because it involves a receiver the Cowboys expect to use in that game; Guyton’s calf issue puts a second offensive starter on the same practice report. Neither limited designation is a ruling that the player will miss the contest.
Dallas has already anticipated linebacker DeMarvion Overshown’s return for the Eagles game in previous desk coverage. The new injury-report question is on offense: whether Pickens and Guyton can increase their participation during the rest of the week. Their final game designations, not Thursday’s limited listings, will determine what Dallas formally says about their availability.
