Ben Standig (@BenStandig): Washington added Daron Payne to the injury report. Limited with a knee.
Payne is a key piece of Washington's defensive line, so the addition is worth monitoring. A limited designation means he took part in practice on a modified basis rather than sitting out entirely.
The team should have more clarity on his status after Friday's practice, with the opener approaching this weekend.
