Adam Schefter (@AdamSchefter): Today's Chargers-Seahawks game will feature a father-son matchup: Chargers HC Jim Harbaugh against Seahawks special teams coordinator Jay Harbaugh.
It is a unique moment for the Harbaugh family, with father and son on opposite sidelines in an NFL regular-season game. Jay Harbaugh has carved out his own coaching career, working his way up to a coordinator role with the Seahawks under head coach Mike Macdonald.
Jim Harbaugh, in his second season leading the Chargers, has the team positioned as an AFC contender. The matchup adds a personal layer to an interconference game that carries playoff implications for both sides, with Seattle looking to keep pace in the NFC West.
