The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have added a veteran backup quarterback, with Easton Stick signing to the practice squad pending a physical, per Greg Auman of Fox Sports.

Stick, a North Dakota State product who has bounced around the NFL since 2019 and spent this summer with the Colts. He has familiarity with the offensive staff, having worked with offensive coordinator Zac Robinson and T.J. Yates with the Falcons last year. The move gives Tampa Bay a seasoned arm behind Baker Mayfield and Jalon Daniels and, more importantly, familiarity with the system.
The addition is part of a busy practice-squad build for the Bucs. with the group including Paul Rubelt, the former UCF tackle known as "Tall Paul," joins via an international exemption as a 17th member.
