Sanders earned the honor by distributing 500 backpacks with supplies and hosting a pizza and ice cream party for students at two East Cleveland schools. In recognition of his charitable efforts, the NFLPA is making a $10,000 donation to his Legendary Impact Foundation. The gesture is a natural fit for a franchise looking to build community ties around its young quarterback, who has been one of the bright spots of a tough Browns start.
