Adam Schefter (@AdamSchefter): Veteran QB Josh Johnson is signing with the Bengals practice squad.
Johnson played well in the preseason and gives the Bengals another veteran arm on the roster behind Joe Burrow and backup Joe Flacco. The 13-year veteran provides depth and experience, and his familiarity with the league could also help the scout team in preparations for Week 1. The move comes as teams finalize their 53-man rosters and practice squads ahead of the start of the regular season.
