Mike Evans did not practice Thursday and worked on the side, a change from his limited participation Wednesday; Cam Inman still expects the receiver to play Sunday at Seattle
Mike Evans moved from a limited practice Wednesday to no participation Thursday, although the 49ers receiver worked on the side and remained upbeat, according to beat reporter Cam Inman.

Inman expects Evans to play Sunday at Seattle. That is the latest turn in a rib issue the receiver played through against the Rams: he caught five passes for 76 yards in that game, as covered in the desk's Wednesday practice report.
The 49ers' Thursday report is a step back in practice participation, but Inman's account keeps the focus on whether Evans can be available against the Seahawks rather than indicating a confirmed absence.
