Texans sign RB Dare Ogunbowale off Raiders' practice squad

The Texans have signed running back Dare Ogunbowale off the Raiders' practice squad, bringing back a familiar face to Houston's backfield.

Ogunbowale returns to a team and system he knows well, giving the Texans a veteran option at running back. The move adds experience and depth to a position group as Houston manages its rotation.

His signing off Las Vegas' practice squad is a straightforward roster add, but the familiarity he brings could make him a quick contributor. For the Texans, it's a low-risk way to reinforce the backfield with a proven, versatile runner.

Ogunbowale's return gives Houston another option as it looks to keep its ground game steady through the season.
