Seahawks wide receiver Jake Bobo suffered what coach Mike Macdonald called a serious knee injury during Friday's joint practice with the Tennessee Titans in Nashville, and was carted off the field after going down on a target near the sideline.
MySportsUpdate (@MySportsUpdate): #Seahawks WR Jake Bobo was carted off today with a knee injury, and HC Mike Macdonald said early indications are it’s a “serious” injury.
Mike Garafolo of NFL Network also characterized it as a serious injury for Seattle. Bobo was attended to by trainers before being carted off; both teams briefly took a knee and said a prayer for the receiver, per Gregg Bell of The News Tribune, whose account Ian Rapoport relayed.
Macdonald said the early indications are that the injury is a serious one, though the specific diagnosis has not yet been announced. Bobo, a depth receiver and core special-teams contributor for Seattle, becomes the latest wideout added to the Seahawks' injury concern list during a physical training-camp stretch.
