Saints WR Jordyn Tyson will miss Paris practice week
Mickey Loomis says New Orleans' Jordyn Tyson will not practice this week, delaying the first-round receiver's NFL debut beyond the Steelers game in Paris

New Orleans Saints wide receiver Jordyn Tyson will not practice this week, general manager Mickey Loomis said Wednesday, keeping the first-round pick on the sideline as the team prepares to face Pittsburgh in Paris. Tyson has yet to make his NFL debut.
This is a firm practice-week decision rather than a day-to-day designation. With no work this week, the Saints will have to prepare for Sunday's Steelers game without counting on Tyson as a participating receiver. New Orleans has a bye the following week, so the decision pushes the earliest possible debut beyond the Paris trip.
Tyson is improving and the team feels it is getting closer to having him back. That progress did not change this week's plan. Loomis also distinguished Tyson's current injury from his earlier hamstring trouble, according to Terrell.
Katherine Terrell (@Kat_Terrell): Mickey Loomis said the injury Jordyn Tyson has is not the same injury he had before. He said the timing was unfortunate "but hopefully this is the one and only injury he has."
For a young receiver still awaiting his first regular-season snaps, the next meaningful checkpoint is his return to practice after the bye, not a projected game date. Loomis did not announce one.
