Philadelphia's receiver room could become a seller's market. Teams hunting for pass-catching help ahead of the trade deadline have identified Eagles wideout Marquise "Hollywood" Brown as a name worth pursuing, according to Jordan Schultz.

The case for a deal is straightforward on paper. Brown is healthy now, carries a 1,000-yard season on his résumé and produced 49 catches for 587 yards and five touchdowns with Kansas City last season — a track record that travels to a contender needing a field-stretching option. The complication is opportunity: in Philadelphia he has been a rotational piece in an offense that already funnels targets elsewhere, and a change of scenery would likely come with a larger role.

Any suitor would also be buying a player who has already missed time this fall. Brown was ruled out of the Rams game on October 2 with an ankle injury as part of a wide list of Eagles absences, so his medical file — not just his production history — is part of the evaluation. Schultz's report specifically notes he is healthy now, which is the detail that makes talks plausible rather than theoretical.

The timing fits the way this Eagles season is trending. Jalen Hurts is on injured reserve, Saquon Barkley has missed time, and Philadelphia has been patching its skill positions week to week, including Tuesday's backfield churn. A club in that position is more likely to listen on a veteran receiver than one cruising toward the postseason, and moving Brown would also clear snaps for younger wideouts.
