Zay Flowers back at Ravens practice, on track for the opener in Indianapolis

The Ravens got their No. 1 receiver back on the field Thursday. Zay Flowers returned to practice for the first time in two weeks, per ESPN's Jamison Hensley — and the early signs point toward him being available when the games start.

The timeline matters: Flowers, dealing with an undisclosed injury, had not practiced since the joint practices in Minnesota on Aug. 20. He was the only member of the 53-man roster not practicing Wednesday, though he was running off to the side — and one day later, he was back in uniform, per Hensley.

Baltimore's opener is Sept. 13 at Indianapolis, and Hensley writes that it looks like Lamar Jackson's favorite target is set for it. The return ends a quiet two-week stretch for a Ravens team that otherwise heads into the season about as healthy as it could have hoped — 52 of 53 players were practicing even before Flowers came back.

Flowers has been the Ravens' most productive receiver, and having him at full strength against the Colts — rather than managing his way into the season — removes the biggest question mark hovering over Baltimore's opener.
