Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson was not seen at the start of Wednesday’s practice, Adam Schefter reported, as the club began on-field preparation for its game against the Cincinnati Bengals. Jackson is working back from an ankle injury and has missed Baltimore’s last two games.

Tyler Huntley has started the two games Jackson missed. Wednesday’s absence is a meaningful checkpoint in the new practice week, though it does not by itself settle who will start against Cincinnati. The club’s subsequent practice participation and injury designations will matter more than an early media-viewing snapshot. For Baltimore, the immediate question is whether Jackson can return to the field before game day or whether Huntley must prepare for another start.

There was a more encouraging development elsewhere on the offense: center Cam Jurgens practiced without a red noncontact jersey for the first time since his arrival, according to Jamison Hensley. Jurgens came to Baltimore in an October 7 trade with the Philadelphia Eagles and missed the last two games while in concussion protocol. His participation is not the same as clearance to play Sunday, but it offers the Ravens a potential offensive-line option as they assess the quarterback position.
