NFL Roster Moves — October 20, 2026

The NFL's transaction wire filled out Tuesday with moves from 26 clubs, headlined by the releases of veteran starters in New York and Tennessee and a kicker carousel in Miami. The Giants cut running back Najee Harris two days after a four-carry, two-yard game against the Saints and also released outside linebacker Jihad Ward, while the Titans let go of defensive tackle Jordan Elliott following last week's incident at the team facility. The Rams moved wide receiver Davante Adams and nose tackle Poona Ford to injured reserve, the Dolphins released kicker Riley Patterson and signed Zane Gonzalez to their practice squad after a kicker workout, and the Packers put defensive tackle Mazi Smith on their practice squad a day after working him out.
