Friday brought a busy round of roster activity ahead of Week 5's slate of games, headlined by the Eagles reshaping their roster for Sunday's London matchup against the Jaguars.
Eagles
- Released QB Andy Dalton (reported, per Mike Garafolo; practice-squad return possible per Jeff McLane)
- Signed RB Carson Steele to the active roster from the practice squad. Steele ran 56 times for 183 yards for the Chiefs in 2024 and fills in for injured Saquon Barkley.
- Signed C Jake Majors to the active roster from the practice squad. Majors joins a reshuffled offensive line after Lane Johnson's retirement, the Cam Jurgens trade, and Drew Kendall being ruled out with a knee injury.
- Placed DT Uar Bernard on practice squad injured reserve.
Dolphins
- Claimed RB Kaytron Allen off waivers from Washington. A sixth-round pick in the 2026 draft, Allen appeared in four games for Washington with 12 carries for 41 yards and 29 special-teams snaps. The signing adds depth after De'Von Achane suffered a season-ending torn ACL.
Broncos
- Promoted WR Lil'Jordan Humphrey to the active roster from the practice squad (per Adam Schefter).
- Placed WR Pat Bryant on short-term IR with an ankle injury (previously reported).
49ers
- Released DL Ogbo Okoronkwo (per PFT).
