Bills WR Keon Coleman sidelined in walking boot
Buffalo receiver Keon Coleman did not practice Tuesday and was spotted in a walking boot, though the team previously expected him to be fine after a preseason knock.
Buffalo Bills wide receiver Keon Coleman was not on the practice field for Tuesday's open session at Highmark Stadium and was wearing a walking boot, according to multiple reporters on the scene. Coleman appeared in Buffalo's preseason opener, catching three of four targets for 17 yards, and head coach Joe Brady had previously said he expected the second-year receiver to be fine after he got banged up in the game. His absence adds to a thin receiver group on the day, with Khalil Shakir also sidelined, though veteran D.J. Moore was participating. Defensive tackle Ed Oliver was also out. Buffalo hosts Cleveland on Saturday for Week 2 of the preseason, and Coleman's status will be worth monitoring given how much the offense leans on its young perimeter weapons.
