MySportsUpdate (@MySportsUpdate): Trade: The #Giants are trading G Daniel Faalele to the #Jaguars for a 2027 late-round pick, per @evan_b. Faalele started all 34 games over the last two years in Baltimore and came to the Giants to reunite with John Harbaugh. But he's not headed to Jacksonville.
Faalele, a 6-foot-8, 370-pound tackle-guard hybrid, started all 34 games over the last two seasons in Baltimore before signing with the Giants in April to reunite with head coach Brian Daboll's staff. But New York drafted Francis Mauigoa and the rookie took nearly all of the first-team reps at right guard in camp, leaving Faalele as the odd man out. The trade sends him to a Jaguars team that, per ESPN's Jeremy Fowler, has wanted to add more size to its offensive line — and Faalele certainly fits the bill.
