The Philadelphia Eagles shuffled the back end of their roster on Friday, headlined by the waiver of wide receiver Johnny Wilson with an injury designation. Wilson, who had been sidelined by a knee injury during camp, is the most notable name in the roster moves.

Wilson, 25, spent the 2025 season recovering from knee and ankle surgeries, so the latest knee issue is a continuation of a difficult stretch. Because he was waived with an injury designation, he will pass through waivers; if he goes unclaimed, he can revert to Philadelphia's injured reserve list unless the two sides reach an injury settlement.
The Eagles also placed cornerback Tariq Castro-Fields on injured reserve and added two pieces on offense. Center Zeke Correll signed with the team and brings a familiar connection — he has history with Philadelphia's new offensive line coach Kuper. The Eagles also brought back wide receiver Brandon Hayes, who was with the club before the preseason began.
