The Eagles will honor the man who has owned the franchise for nearly three decades this fall. Philadelphia announced it will induct owner Jeffrey Lurie into the Eagles Hall of Fame during the Week 7 home game against the Dallas Cowboys.

Lurie, who bought the team in 1994, has presided over the franchise's most successful era — including its first Super Bowl title in the 2017 season and it's second title in 2024. The induction will take place at Lincoln Financial Field on Monday, Oct. 26, when the rival Cowboys visit.

It should be noted that the Eagles do have a committee in place for this honor, so it wasn't Lurie directly placing himself. Placing Lurie among the franchise's honored figures cements his place in Eagles lore alongside the players and coaches who built the modern team.
