Los Angeles' injury-riddled practice included its starting left tackle (seven straight absences) and corner Tarheeb Still, plus a long list of veterans not participating.
The Los Angeles Chargers ran a walkthrough on Day 15 of camp ahead of Tuesday's joint practice with the San Francisco 49ers, but the session was notable for who was not on the field.

Left tackle Rashawn Slater has now missed seven straight practices, and cornerback Tarheeb Still — who returned to individual drills — did not take part in team periods after also sitting out the previous seven. The absences extend well beyond those two.
Kris Rhim (@krisrhim1): Chargers not practicing. LT Rashawn Slater. WR Quentin Johnston. LB Denzel Perryman. WR Tre' Harris. CB Donte Jackson. OLB Khalil Mack. TE David Njoku. OLB Akheem Mesidor. DT Teair Tart. WR Luke Grimm. CB Tarheeb Still went through individuals with a helmet but is working off to the side with a trainer now
A long list of veterans and contributors were held out, including receiver Quentin Johnston, linebacker Denzel Perryman, receiver Tre' Harris, corner Donte Jackson, edge Khalil Mack, tight end David Njoku, edge Akheem Mesidor, defensive tackle Teair Tart and receiver Luke Grimm. With Slater and Still working back, the Chargers are leaning on depth along the edges of their line and secondary as joint practice week arrives. Head coach Mike McDaniel's staff has kept the group's workload measured, but the volume of names out is a test for the roster's depth chart.
