Parker Gabriel (@ParkerJGabriel): #Broncos training camp finally boiled over. The rundown on a team period that turned into a pretty big fracas. Bo Nix got knocked down, threw a ball at Malcolm Roach and later pulled Nik Bonitto off a pile by a leg. It got spicy quickly: https://www.denverpost.com/2026/08/18/broncos-training-camp-fight-bo-nix-nik-bonitto/ via @denverpost
It escalated quickly, and coaches had to step in — one was seen talking at length with Bonitto while another spoke with tackle Mike McGlinchey. The dust-up followed a choppy day for the offense against a Broncos defense that has been assertive all camp. Nix's frustration after a sack was visible, and the scuffle became the defining image of an otherwise routine padded practice.
Denver also posted a fresh injury/availability note: interior linebacker Drew Sanders, center Alex Forsyth, linebacker Levelle Bailey, receiver Michael Bandy and tight end Caleb Lohner were among those not practicing. None of those absences were tied to the scuffle.
Coaches framed the intensity as a sign of a competing room rather than a concern, but the clip is a reminder that the preseason tension is real with the roster deadline looming.
