Adam Schefter (@AdamSchefter): A return: Bengals are signing WR Mitch Tinsley off the Texans practice squad and on to their active roster. Tinsley was in Cincinnati's camp this summer, but signed with Houston's practice squad. And now he is back.
Tinsley was in the Bengals' camp this summer before being cut at the end of the preseason, then signed with Houston's practice squad. His return comes at a moment of need: Cincinnati put Andrei Iosivas on injured reserve last week, thinning the depth behind Ja'Marr Chase and Tee Higgins to Dohnte Myers, Colby Young and Ke'Shawn Williams.
Tinsley played every game for the Bengals last year and started four, finishing with eight catches for 116 yards and two touchdowns. He also appeared in two games for Washington during the 2023 season. The veteran adds an experienced, proven pair of hands to a receiver room that lost its No. 3 option to IR.
